Hey yall!

I’m Jhoanne (pronounced as JO-ANN).


I’m a stay at home wife and mom.

My weight-loss journey began back in 2012, after I had my first child. I’m 5’4 and I had gained over 50lbs, taking me up to 180lbs. I was determined, motivated, so focused and lost the 50lbs, bringing me down to 130lbs. I did everything from clean eating, juicing, smoothie challenges,  vegan, and always working out. By working out, I mean running on the treadmill and using the elliptical only. Hey, it was a first step to the right direction! This phase was when I read and learned as much as I can about weight-loss, healthy eating, and some workouts.

Fast forward to 2014, I continued clean eating and working out while pregnant with baby # 2 ! I gained a healthy 5lbs. After, I completely went down-hill from the whole lifestyle. I did still eat healthy, because that was just a habit. However, I wasn’t focused on what I was eating , what I weighed, or anything in between.

Now, at the present time, I recall trying so many different diets : whole30, plant based, raw vegan, paleo, etc. All had gave me, on its own, it’s on high , excitement, and weight loss. None, however, was sustainable for MY lifestyle.

So, I’ve decided to stick to HEALTHY. My healthy consists of:

  • portion controlled
  • little to no dairy
  • meat-less during the day
  • working out, regardless if its yoga, running, sports, anything to get my body moving
